Working at Tui media
We're a small agency and we keep it that way. We don't have departments or layers of middle-managers. Everyone's input is welcome in every part of the business. In our work, design, development, and project management all impact each other in complex ways, so we value people who are interested in speaking up about more than just their speciality.
Day-to-day
We work on projects in small teams, commonly just 4 people. Small teams encourage focus, autonomy and ownership. If you're a junior, there'll be one or two seniors attached for advice, reviews, screen-sharing in huddles, etc, and everyone's on Slack to ask for help or ideas.
Stability
We cherish long-lasting relationships with both clients and colleagues; there's not much churn at Tui. Most people here have been with us for more than 5 years.
We're independent
The company's run for the benefit of its employees. Full ownership of the company is managed by an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), which means we're independent, not run by a board of investors. It also means our profits go back into the company, not into shareholder dividends. Another perk of having an EOT is an income-tax-free bonus.
